Wildlife on Mull

The isle of Mull is a well established holiday destination for visitors looking for an opportunity to get close to Scottish wildlife.

There are organised wildlife trips for the enthusiasts however the casual observer, with a little patience and luck maybe rewarded with photos and sighting of red deer, eagles, otters, basking shark and minke whale etc.

Take a day trip to see the puffins and other seabirds which breed on the Treshnish isles.

See and photograph sea eagles from a specialised boat trip or from the hide.

There are otters nearby at Croig, Calgary bay and Loch Cuin.

Wildlife trips operate daily, Discover Mull is based is close to Penmore.
