Inside Penmore

Penmore House Self Catering has a large lounge/dining room with seating for groups of up to 10 people. The dining table seats 10. The windows from the kitchen and dining area look out to Quinish point on the isle of Mull, Ardnamurchan point and lighthouse on the main land - the most westerly point on the British isles main land. The isles of Rum, Muck, Eigg and Skye can be seen in the distance.

Penmore House has an electric, Total heating - total control night storage heating system, this also heats the water. The house is double glazed throughout and well insulated.
All furnishings comply with the (Fire Regulations) Act 1996.
Our cot and high chair are in good condition and meet current BS standards.
We have a fire guard for the wood burning stove.

Living Room

The view from the dining area window and kitchen looks out North to Quinish point on Mull and Ardnamurchan point on the main land.
Beyond in the distance we can see the cullins of Skye and the islands of Rum, Muck and Eigg.

Views South

 

View from the windows facing South are over the Lawn and open farm land and hills beyond.

Kitchen

The Penmore kitchen is equipped with everything needed to cater for 10 people. There is a gas hob and electric fan oven, a fridge freezer and dishwasher, microwave, toaster, etc (all new for 2006 season)

There is a washing machine located on the ground floor.

Bedrooms at Penmore

In total there are 3 double bedrooms and 2 twins bedrooms at Penmore.

Penmore sleeps a maximum of 10.

There is also 1 cot supplied foc.
We do not supply bed linen for cot

There is one twin, and one double bedroom on the ground floor adjacent to a WC / shower room. This bathroom has an electric shower.

There are 2 double bedrooms on the first floor with wash hand basins.
The main bathroom is also on this floor, which has a power shower over the bath.

There is 1 twin bedroom in the loft space.

 

Bed linen and towels are supplied, the beds are made for you before you arrive, our beds have quality feather duvets.

We also have hollow fibre duvets available, please let us know before you arrive, if you want the house made up with the hollow fibre duvets.
(beds, bed linen, towels etc all new for 2006 season)

Upstairs the large living room with its high ceiling offers a comfortable living space,
TV, with free-view digital channels, DVD and video player, (remember to bring your favorites films) music centre with radio and CD player.

Downstairs the twin bedroom is an ideal den for children where they can chill out, watch TV play pool. There is a play station 2 We have 2 controllers and a steering wheel thing;
bring your own games.

Spend a whole week playing pool........
well, some folk might think thats a good idea.

Some of our visitors insist on working whilst on there holidays! many just want access to their emails, to facilitate these requests we provide a Wi-Fi link to our network giving you free access to the internet and your emails.
note : visitors require their own laptop which can access a wireless network to use this facility.
